The services offered are as follows:
Protected home- Nova Zagora offers social services to 10 slightly mentally demented people formerly residing at the institutions for mentally deranged children in the towns of Kermen and Stara Zagora and the village of Fakia. The people, residing at the Home are 5 young women and 5 men aged 18-26 who have spent most of their lives at specialized institutions. The basic purpose of the Protected Home project is to create a favorable medium for their transition from the specialized institution to  society by building up a near- family atmosphere and creating  support, mutual help, ability to make the best of their knowledge and skills and assisting their endeavors for comparatively independent and adequate life in the community.
