The Maria Roza home for children lacking parental care is in the village of Assenovets, 7 km from Nova Zagora. Its capacity is 70 children aged 4 to 20.
The home has a perennial cycle of work. It admits children all through the year and they are distributed in 2 groups- for permanent and weekly care.

In each group there is a workspace and a team of instructors working with the children. Each child has a personal mentor and they all attend school or kindergarten. There are workshops for creative and educational activities.
